the “Pro” version should not be so seriously lacking

Many things are wrong with it. There is no help menu. The zoom commands using the Command key don’t work. It doesn’t resize or rotate an object. It can’t crop. The Pour function that is supposed to fill an area doesn’t work. In short, it does not do many of the functions that the FREE MS Paint does. A poor showing for something NOT free.
